Whatever happened to the... Arash AF10?

It could have mixed with Bugattis and Koenigseggs, but only one AF10 hypercar exists...

What is it?

The ultimate hypercar from Newmarket’s sometime purveyor of handbuilt British supercars, Arash. Formerly known as Farboud. Named after the company’s founder... Arash Farboud. Naturally! The AF10 was his Chiron killer, his Rimac buster.

Did they actually build any?

One exists, runs and drives, but never got the vaunted quad motor 2,000bhp hybrid setup promised, instead beginning life with a V8 and latterly being presented at events with a Merc V12 in the back, connected to a MkI Audi R8 manual gearbox. Nice!

Where are they now?

In 2021 Arash revealed something called the AFX, a hypercar that could be all electric, or a mere 650kg ultra lightweight purist petrol machine. We say revealed – it’s only renderings so far. Every so often an Arash does show up to the Goodwood Festival of Speed, so keep a sharp eye out next year...
