The Zenvo Aurora will unleash its 6.6-litre V12 at Goodwood in 2025

High-powered, high-revving hypercar to debut on famous hill... better get some Black Friday ear defenders in preparation

Published: 29 Nov 2024

You know Zenvo, that Danish marque which builds 1,000bhp+ supercars with rear wings that breakdance? Its next production model, the Aurora, is confirmed for a proper debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. And guess what? It won’t just take a stand space either, it’ll be a full dynamic run up the hill. Yippee!

That means we’ll get our first look at the new 6.6-litre quad-turbo hybrid V12 in action, where its driver will hopefully stretch its 10,000rpm legs the distance. And ring some eardrums, more importantly.

The Aurora will come in two trim levels: the softer GT-focused ‘Tur’ (1,500bhp) and the full-blown time attack ‘Agil’ (1,800bhp). That difference in power is made up by an extra pair of electric motors, and all in, the Agil is targeting a top speed of 280mph…

…provided you’re brave enough to actually get there, that is. Because the Aurora Agil is projected to hit 62mph in 2.3s, 186mph in 9s and 248mph in 17s. That’s ridiculous. For perspective, the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut currently leads the way for 0-248mph runs at 18.82s, while the Rimac Nevera takes 21.3s. Or walking pace, if Zenvo’s estimates come true.

The Aurora also tips the scales at just 1,250kg, thanks to a full carbon chassis, monocoque, and subframes. On top of all that sits a completely revised design, with Zenvo looking to move away from the general philosophy which started with the ST1 in 2009 and stretched right across to 2022’s TSR-GT.

Just 100 units will be made across both versions of the Aurora, with each rumoured to set customers back at least £2.2 million. Reckon you can get a poppin' 'n' lockin' rear wing thrown on for a bit extra?
