Developed chiefly for the Japanese military and emergency services, Toyota also built around 100 civilian versions between 1995 and 2002. Way bigger than even a Hummer H1, at more than five metres long, 2.2m wide and 2.1m high, they cost the equivalent of around £150,000 in today’s money. Yowzers.
