GMC Sierra 1500 review
Interior
What is it like on the inside?
OK, this is where the Sierra really needs to shine to convince the world that this is a luxury truck. That’s very difficult to do when you have trucks like the RAM 1500 with its extraordinary top-spec interior that rivals many luxury saloons. GMC has done its best to make more of the Silverado’s architecture, adding some swathes of soft-touch materials and flashes of colour. But the net/net is that it’s not up there with the best in class.
That’s not to say it’s bad in any way. The seats are supporting and long-distance comfortable. Everything is easy to understand and use. There are enough lockers and cupholders for even the most storage obsessed. It just doesn’t feel very special, that’s all.
