This is the next new DS: a coupe-SUV with a 466-mile range
The name’s been redacted. The range, as you can see, clearly hasn’t
This is DS [redacted]. That’s not its actual name – DS has redacted the moniker of its upcoming all new model from its initial communication. But DS has communicated [redacted]’s range, and it’s a big one.
Big range, for a big car. It’s a coupe-SUV, and as you can clearly see from [redacted]’s flanks, DS is claiming 750km of range from a single tank of… electricity. That’s 466 miles on the WLTP combined cycle, giving this car proper long-distance ability.
Sleek, rather large long-distance ability, DS reckoning the [redacted] is a combination of the ‘dynamism’ of regular, non-redacted SUVs, and the rakish windscreen and lower bonnet you’ll find on regular, non-redacted coupes.
Amazingly, this thing boasts a drag coefficient of 0.24, and DS says each body part has been tested in the wind tunnel. Hopefully all together, too. There are active air intakes in the front bumper, vertical daytime running headlights and 3D rear lights. Funky wheels, too.
Those colours of the DS [redacted]? It’s the same colour scheme DS’s 2025 Formula E car uses, those lines attempting to hide [redacted]’s body. You’ll be able to see it without the lines before 2024 is out, at which point we’ll learn more about the fully electric… [redacted].
