Urban Automotive’s new kit will make your Range Rover Sport wider than most planets

Or you can have a ‘Narrowbody’ alternative, which is about as narrow as The Mall

Published: 02 Sep 2024

The Range Rover Sport is already a sizeable thing, but what if you want yours to be even more sizeable? Urban Automotive has you covered because this is its brand-new conversion kit for the current L461 generation, and it’s, um, sizeable.

Two packages will be offered: ‘Widetrack’ and ‘Narrowbody’ (ironic name). Regardless of which you choose, you’ll get extra carbon bits across the exterior, a choice of forged, multi-spoke 23/24in alloys and the option of a Milltek performance exhaust. Tasty mods, those.

In terms of actual differences, the Widetrack will bring thicker wheel arches, a unique bonnet and a matrix-style grille. You’ll also spot new bumpers and diffusers all around and aluminium exhaust tips. All of this means it’s likely to get into fistfights with every width restrictor in Britain.

The Narrowbody carries over a couple of those elements too, albeit with a slightly less in-yer-face approach. So it still gets a new suite of skirts, although they’ll be made entirely from carbon, while the light signatures have been restyled.

No mention of any performance enhancements, so expect your Rangie to return with the same output you sent it to Urban with, albeit with a slight change to its vocal cord.

Interested? That’ll be at least £25,000 of His Majesty’s finest, please.
