The ultimate rally? 130 Lamborghinis swarmed Tokyo’s streets, and it looked mega
As if you needed another reason to visit Japan
Itching to go to Japan? Not to rub it in your face or anything, but a group of 130 Lamborghinis just swarmed the streets of Tokyo for the company’s annual celebration day. And yes, it looks like a proper laugh.
Parading through a mostly closed route which ended at the Shinjuku National Stadium, the convoy included a bright yellow Miura tucked in among the crowd and a couple of Countachs seen forming an orderly queue.
No sign of any Gallardos or Murcielagos - Lambo’s famous Noughties pairing - but there are lots of special editions of their successors, the Huracán and the Aventador. Oh, and their successors, the Temerario and the Revuelto.
At journey’s end, those participating in the rally were greeted by some of the brand’s ultra-exclusive series too, including a Centenario and Sian - both in drop-top form. No Venenos though, sadly.
Ought to get that itch fixed soon, reader…
