Uh oh, Mansory has discovered there are Chinese SUVs to modify
Flagship Zeekr 9X was already pretty brash. German tuner clearly disagreed
Be careful out there folks, because clearly nobody is safe. Yep, your car could be Mansor-ified at literally any moment. Just take a look at that thing up above.
That was once a Zeekr 9X – the Chinese firm’s latest flagship that’s larger than the massive Merc GLS and has more than a hint of Rolls-Royce Cullinan crossed with a Range Rover in its design.
We’re not actually sure what it is now that Mansory has “refined” it. There are the usual lashings of carbon fibre, two rear spoilers, a hefty diffuser, a new bonnet, wide arches, supercar-spec side skirts and even rear-hinged coach doors. Perhaps Mansory thought it was working on a Cullinan that had its doors put on wrong at the factory?
With two separate paint colours and all that exposed carbon it’s hardly subtle on the outside, but step inside and it’s even more of an assault on the eyes with the brightest white leather covering “every conceivable element”.
Have to say though, we do like those forged wheels. Absolutely no need for them to be 24in items, but apparently they’re a new design and they do look excellent.
One thing that Mansory has left untouched is the big Zeekr’s powertrain. Probably for the best given it already has a plug-in hybrid setup with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and three electric motors making a total of 1,362bhp. We’re told that even as standard 0-62mph takes just 3.1 seconds, although you’ll be able to hear that erm… turbo four-pot better thanks to a new flap-controlled Mansory exhaust.
