Here are 10 great used EVs we found this week for under £15k
Tempted to go electric? These may just convince you
BMW i3
One of the best electric cars yet: well packaged, equipped and engineered. This is a strong example, with a bunch of extras including a glass sunroof and Harman Kardon audio kit, plus the 42.2kWh battery option meaning approx 190 miles of range. Low mileage, big spec, no fuss. Ideal daily.

There is a genuine fear that, one day, we may no longer have small city cars any more. But the Fiat 500 is one that just refuses to die, transitioning superbly into the electric era. Here’s an almost brand-new example with 3,100 on the clock for just £14,750. Bargain.
Citroen Ami Buggy
Is it possible to get an EV with as much character and cutesiness as a Citroen Ami in Buggy spec? Key traits include a removable door, opening roof panel and lots of soft-touch padding. But what really gets us is just how gutsy this adorable little thing looks like with the new armour. C’mon, consider this one.

You can get a ‘Pro Performance’ version of VW's ID.3 with a 201bhp motor and 58kWh battery for a Friday takeout below this week’s budget. Here’s one with 19in alloys and ‘Manganese Grey’ paint over ‘Platinum Grey’ cloth. Yes, it’s very grey.
Dacia Spring
For so long we’ve been dreaming of a genuine cheap-as-chips electric car, and it arrived this year in the form of the Dacia Spring. They're already on the used car scene, and you can land a range-topping ‘Extreme’ for just over budget, which gets a 10in infotainment screen and sees 140 miles before needing a recharge.
Mercedes-Benz B250e
Whoever specced this B250e had the right idea, because it’s got comfort suspension and Artico leather seats. There are more storage compartments than you’ll find in a New York penthouse, and since it’s a Merc, more tech than a Lenovo headquarters’ server room.
Mini Hatch Electric
Like the Fiat 500, the Mini Hatch looks unlikely to go anywhere any time soon. It still sells well and remains a stern ambassador for Britain… despite effectively being a BMW. Here’s a Cooper ‘S’ finished in white with black accents and that all-controlling circular infotainment screen for just over £14k.

Chill out, we haven’t forgotten. You’ll find a delightfully blue example of the retro-styled city crawler at this link.
MG MG4
The MG4 has been such a crucial car for MG during its reinvention phase. Yes, it’s got a rear end only a mother could love, but it’s been a success simply because it offers so much for such a small outlay: a 10.25in touchscreen, various driving modes, smartphone connectivity and park assist, to name a few.

You’ve thought about it already, so why not go one step further and do it? It’s the EV equivalent of buying a used 15-year-old Merc, in that you’re getting a staggering amount of car for the money. This Model S is a ‘75D’ with a 328bhp dual-motor powertrain and a 75kWh battery, good for around 300 miles of range. Let your intrusive thoughts win for once.
