Lamborghini has taken the Revuelto skiing, and it looks most excellent

And look! It’s been joined by the Huracan and Urus

Published: 11 Dec 2024

How’s this for a slidey mid-week excursion? Lamborghini has taken a fleet of its models, led by the Revuelto, to the snowy backdrop of Yakeshi in Inner Mongolia for Asia-Pacific customers to try their hand at a bit of four-wheel skiing. Beats a weekend of stumbling down an alp in south-eastern France, we reckon.

The location for the event was Yunlong Lake, which is very much frozen at present with temperatures plummeting to as low as -20 degrees. Next time you complain about sitting in your heated house with a cuppa, spare a thought yeah?

This was about more than just getting a group of shouty supercars on a three-day Winter Olympics crash course; attendees were involved in a series of low–grip exercises in what’s known as the ‘Esperienza Neve’ program. No idea what these ‘exercises’ involve, but we’d very much like an invitation.

Joining the Revuelto were a pair of Huracán (Sterrato and Tecnica) and Urus (Performante and S) models. Throwing the rear-drive Tecnica in amongst a mostly four-wheel drive crowd was a good shout, since it gave customers a lesson on how the drivetrains react differently in conditions suited to that Sub-Zero bloke from Mortal Kombat

The ideal wintry escapade? We think so.
