This wonderfully pink Rolls-Royce Spectre is here to celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show
Grand electric luxo-barge gets wonderful 'Velvet Orchid' paint, and we’re all for it
Lady Penelope: secret agent, fashion icon and owner of the exceedingly pink six-wheeled Rolls-Royce 'FAB 1'. And would you look at that similarly glorious pink Spectre up above. That erm... isn't anything to do with Thunderbirds at all actually.
In fact, it's all about the recent RHS Chelsea Flower Show, although Rolls doesn't actually namecheck the Royal Horticultural Society, instead referring to the free-to-attend 'Chelsea Bloom' on the streets of London. Perhaps there's beef that we don't know about.
Anyway, we're told the special Spectre is painted in ‘Velvet Orchid’, with a hand-painted ‘Peony Pink’ coachline.
Floral themes are actually quite common among bespoke Roller commissions. Just this year alone, we’ve been treated to the Cherry Blossom Phantom and a daisy-themed Cullinan SUV.
Shouldn’t be long before we see a Ghost painted in full daffodil yellow, then.
