Celebrate Nismo’s 40th birthday with this very clean 370Z
It’s in immaculate condition, both mechanically and cosmetically, and costs around a third of the price of the new Ariya Nismo
Nismo’s coming back to the UK after a two-year hiatus and just in time for its 40th birthday, with its sharper, squatter take on the Nissan Ariya. But if a jumped-up, all-electric SUV isn’t what you want to drizzle your Nismo sauce over, how about an eight-year-old 370Z instead?
It’ll fall a bit short on the tech, space and comfort side compared to its more generously proportioned sibling, but you do get many gauges, three pedals and a manual gearbox for starters.
And then there’s the 3.7-litre V6 perched right ahead of the cabin, which not only sends an ample 339bhp to the rear axle but sings a quite brilliant song en route to a redline of 7,500 and a top speed of 155mph. Or 171, should you choose to axe the limiter.
But perhaps the most astonishing thing about choosing this 370Z over the Ariya is the price; it’s very likely the latter will cost close to £60k when it launches next year. The second-hand 370Z we’ve shown you? You could possibly have three for the price of one Ariya.
Frankly, choosing between a trip to the Maldives or a trip to Moorgate would be a harder decision. Though if you disagree, we’d love to know why in the comment section…
