Alter your expectations of speed and the RX-8 can still feel special. But buy one with care...

One of the best luxury cars money can buy: this really is a bit of an all-round superstar

Superb design and refinement cloak a nondescript driving experience. Again

If sheer refinement is what matters to you in a luxury car, this is the new champion. The EQS fuses Merc’s old school lux with new-age propulsion

The Kona N isn't without compromise, but few performance crossovers feel as close to a hot hatchback as this

The Tarraco is a roomy, good-looking seven-seater and probably the poshest Seat ever

Audi revitalises the SQ8. By fitting a less efficient, less charismatic engine. But still, at least it’s not diesel

A true Nineties hero. And one that’s just as much fun to drive now as the day it was born

Don’t let that drama, stridency and raucousness deceive you. Underneath, the STO really knows its way around a circuit

One of the cheapest routes into Ferrari ownership since new. Don't misjudge it, though - it's still bewitching

Singer's Dynamics and Lightweighting Study is indulgent, rewarding and intense, an even bigger step on from one of their normal restorations than we’d expected

If you have a big family and aren't dead-set on a crossover, go look at an S-Max. Not glam, but good to drive and hugely practical

What do you get for someone who has everything? A soft-top off-roading speedboat, that’s what

The Volvo S90 does things differently from its German rivals, which is exactly why we like it so much

Suzuki's funkiest product has had the funk dialed down a bit by newly pragmatic hybrid versions

Perhaps the most sensible and straight-laced SUV on sale. Which might just be exactly what you're looking for

It’s big, it’s spacious, it’s comfortable, but van-like looks and a limited 143-mile range may prove too much of a turn off for some

A perfectly adequate family barge, but a weak petrol engine line up and changing consumer preferences means likely for not much longer

A highly engaging and authentic supercar that also slips surprisingly persuasively into elegant GT mode

This is finally the spicier Arteon we've been waiting for

An enormously well-rounded true four-seat cabrio… but open cars are all about style. Does this have the right kind?
